New Recruitment in Schools Policy Approved
APS has approved a new Recruitment in Schools Policy.
The policy, approved by the Board of Education on May 13, 2010, states that APS will comply with federal law in regard to release of student directory information to post-secondary recruiters but will provide students and families with the opportunity to “opt-out” of any release of information.
Included are the Exemption-from-Disclosure form that families may complete if they do not wish to have their students information released.
This policy accompanies the new Release of Student Information to Recruiters and School Campus Visits procedural directive, which was approved on May 14, 2010.
