Building Successful Community Engagement Strategies with the Latino Community

Mr. Garcia presented at the 2010 annual conference of the Council of Great City Schools. He spoke about building successful strategies in engaging the Latino community in educational issues. His presentation showcased several of these strategies used by Albuquerque Public Schools, and highlighted the groundbreaking Hispanic Education Act, currently the only piece of legislation of its kind in the nation.
