The APS Redistricting Committee will continue to discuss proposed boundaries for school board districts during its next meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, in the DeLayo-Martin Conference Room.

The committee decided at its last meeting earlier this month to focus on four proposed boundary maps. Members will work on narrowing their choices and will continue to seek public input. The proposed districts can be viewed at www.aps.edu/about-us/board/redistricting-school-board-districts.

Public input  can be submitted by email at boarded@aps.edu.

School board district boundaries are redrawn every 10 years to coincide with the results of federal census data collected. Redistricting is a process to ensure that political districts have as close as possible equal population in each district.
