APS Redistricting Committee

Agenda

I. Purpose of the meeting – This meeting is to discuss redistricting APS Board of Education voting districts based on the 2010 federal census. It does not relate in any way to school attendance boundaries.

II. Public input – Members of the community are invited to share their comments with the APS Redistricting Committee. Speakers are requested to sign in to speak. Speakers have a 2-minute speaking limit.

 

 

III. APS Redistricting Committee discussion – The APS Redistricting Committee will discuss the concepts of, and impacts on, board member voting district line movement.

A. Discussion of Demographics

 

Notice: The APS Redistricting Committee is a citizen’s committee whose membership was selected by members of the APS Board of Education. They represent all seven school board member voting districts.  More information about the APS redistricting process is available online at www.aps.edu by selecting the Board of Education link.
