In this lab we have 29 iMac computers that vary in color hence the name "Rainbow Lab." Each class comes in for a 30 minute time brackets, set by our Master Schedule. Then we have added a second half hour for those intermediate classes that want to come in.
Our projects vary from making cards in Bailey's Book House to making graphs in The Graph Club. The Interenet has been a valued resource for those intermediate classes working on reports of historic people and even about out wonderful state of New Mexico. Students have learned how to pull pictures from the web and paste them into their word processing document. The primary students work on their ABC's and math skills through Bailey's Book House and Millie's Math House, as well as many more programs.
Teachers have become more technologically inclined due to the many resources we have available to them. Many scan documents to print off multiple copies. Some are even taking digital pictures of their students at work on amazing projects. Others are getting ready to make presentations for parents to view.
