Student Dress Code
THIS UNIFORM DRESS POLICY WILL APPLY TO:
All students, except where there is specific
instructional, safety, religious, or medical reasons.

No
gang-related clothing |

No
chains or spiked jewelry |
 |
No
sunglasses, hairnets, hats, caps or bandanas |
 |
No
clothing or accessories which promote negative behavior (profanity,
violence, sex, drugs, alcohol, bigotry, disrespect) or that is highly
distractive, disruptive or immodest. |

Solid Khaki and Navy Blue, cotton blend or Docker style pants
only |
 |
No
stretch or baggy pants |
 |
Fitted at the waist |
 |
No
outside pockets (cargo pants or stripes) |
 |
No
denim or corduroy |
 |
No
capris or Bermudas |
 |
No
overall or one piece jump suits |
 |
No
flip-flop, sandals or open toe shoes |
 |
No
shorts or skirts of any kind are allowed |

POLO STYLE ONLY (collared with buttons) |

Solid
colors only: white, black, hunter green, dark blue, light blue |

Must
be tucked into pants |
 |
Short
or long sleeve polo only, no sleeveless |

Solid white ONLY

Only
uniform solid color sweatshirts without hoods may be worn over legal polo
shirt |

Must
have a zipper in front, no hoodies |

Any
New Mexico sport team will be allowed (Lobos, Aggies, etc.) |

professional or college sport teams are allowed |
STUDENTS AND GUARDIANS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO BE AWARE OF THE DRESS POLICY AND
ABIDE BY IT AT ALL TIMES.
THE
ADMINISTRATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO INTERPRET AND MODIFY THE DRESS POLICY.
ALL ADMINISTRATIVE DECISIONS ARE FINAL.
The
consequences for not following the uniform dress policy will be the
following:

Chronic
or major violations will result in suspension or possible district hearing |

 | Students with perfect attendance may wear jeans
with a uniform shirt tucked in to pants on Fridays. |
